I’ve always wanted to run the London Marathon and after ten years of trying to get in through the ballot, I have finally achieved it!

I would like to put this personal exciting experience to good use and raise money for a local charity, who work tirelessly to raise money towards buying a respite lodge for teenage cancer sufferers and their families to get some important quality time together in a beautiful place in the East Midlands, Mercia Marina near Derby.

Recently I had both knees operated on, so this is a huge personal challenge - but know I can do it.

I know times are hard at the moment, but even 50p will help towards this fantastic cause.
