Story
Our eldest son Ethan was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at the end of 2022. The diagnosis came after over 70 joint dislocations that required scores of hours in hospital on a weekly basis. Ethan has dislocated his ankles, knees, tibias (yep, the shin bone) his fingers, his thumbs, his wrists, his elbows, his shoulders and his jaw on multiple occasions.
Ethan’s condition continues to challenge our family to this day, presenting difficulties walking, attending school to learn, attending his much love Jiu-Jitsu lessons to train at Macmillan Martial Arts Academy. Our family has had to adapt to the challenges on a daily basis, trying our best to give him a new normal.
I’ll be continually fundraising and raising awareness of this terrible condition.
All proceeds will go to the Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes main charity - helping, supporting and raising awareness of this terrible condition and providing support for adults, children and families affected by it.
Thank you.
