Story

As some of you may know my mental health hasn't been the best for a few years, particularly this year.

A few months ago I was seconds away from taking my own life not being able to cope with everything falling apart again.

It's also very difficult to find the right help when going through a crisis. Not everyone has loving friends and family to support them as I have.

Linkin Park was my first ever gig, when Chester lost his battle it was devastating to everyone. So it seems to have come full circle. Chester played his last gig in Birmingham, so I'm honouring his legacy by being part of 1000 Lights as a guitarist playing alongside 999 other musicians.

Also to help raise funds to provide free mental health support for people struggling with thier own battles.

If you can donate whatever you can I will love you forever and throw a few free beers your way!

Please help me raise money for mental health and sponsor me to play as part of 1000 Lights at the Utilita arena.

100% of everything raised and donated will be used to help provide free mental health counselling and services.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to get on stage at the NIA and play with famous players.

Whoever raises the most money for their instrument will be on stage on the day!

About the campaign

About the charity

We provide free counselling to people aged 18 and 35 that relate to the alternative & rock music scene. Running sessions online, and from UPRAWR Studios, we turned our studio rooms into relaxed counselling suits so people can talk to councillors they to relate to in a non-clinical environment.
