WARNING: The stupidest thing I've ever attempted 29/12/2023

It's that time of year again so I'm going to be kicking off a bit more in preparation for the Albion Foundation ride to Rotherham and back.

That's not until next year but in the meantime i'm going to attempt the hardest thing I've ever done by way of a virtual Everest attempt.

This will be Friday 29th December around 5 or 6am and will involve climbing the elevation of Mount Everest in a single ride.

I will be attempting to therefore climb alpe du Zwift 8.5 times for 8849 metres of elevation.

I envision if successful this will take me around 15 hours and I'm asking for anyone that would like to support my attempt for The Albion Foundation if they could find any kind of sponsors to my cause.

Part 2

Story

The Baggies Bike Challenge is now in its tenth year and we are appealing for supporters to join us and help raise funds for the Foundation as we strive to continue our award-winning work in the community.

The official challenge will kick off on Monday, April 8, 2024 returning to The Hawthorns in time for the evening game against Rotherham on Wednesday, April 10. Riders will cycle from Rotherham’s New York Stadium back to the Black Country via the Peak District, backed by a support team who will be on hand to assist with any mechanicals.

In an effort to try and raise more money for the Foundation I shall be cycling the journey from West Bromwich to Rotherham the day prior.
