Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association. The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND.

In December 2023, my wife Rebecca was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Her diagnosis was a great shock to our family, and to her many friends and colleagues in the Wyre Forest Health Partnership. At the peak of her career, she has had to retire on ill health grounds. Our two sons have been amazing at dealing with Bec’s illness and we have had a huge amount of love and support from everyone.

To show our support and love to her and all those other people diagnosed with MND, our friends at Bewdley Medical Centre and the 4 other practices within the Wyre Forest Health Partnership have set ourselves the huge challenge of raising £10,000.

The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) do an amazing job supporting those diagnosed and their families and friends. There is no cure as yet but we are getting closer day by day with help from donations to MNDA.

A team of 11 of us from the partnership from non runners to regular runners have also committed to training for and running the Cardiff Half on the 6th October.

We are running a series of fundraising events during 2024 including a cake and plant sale, walk in the forest, sports day, a grand raffle with many amazing prizes to win and lots more! So please join in / donate/ help out if you can.
