Despite having a fused right ankle following an injury sustained in Iraq and being told i would never run again, I have just entered the Bath Ultra 50 km on the 29 th March 25.

The RMA have recently been instrumental providing support as I struggle with transition into society, even after 8 years of leaving this amazing organisation The Royal Marines, not a day passes that I yearn to return to those 28 years where I felt I belonged. Transitioning into civillian life is a huge undertaking for Veterans after giving so much blood, sweat and tears for your country, only to find oneself feeling depersonalised and dissasocitiated with the hectic pace of today's way of living and for many just surviving.
