CAFOD is a charity that I have admired and supported since my earliest days at primary school. It's a charity that makes a tangible difference to all that need its support and is there at the most difficult and desperate times. I love teaching students about their work and helping to fundraise in school for them. It is an honour and a privilege to be running the marathon for them.

This will also be the culmination of a lifestyle journey for me. In 2023 I was found to have very high blood pressure and I knew my lifestyle had to change. I set myself the goal of running everyday in 2024 and as I write this I am about to reach run 200. The marathon is the next part of my goal to help me be a happier and healthier person for my family.
