We work in the world's toughest places to ensure children are in education.

Story

£30 could send a child to school for a whole year.

£60 could provide a mother with a business grant, helping her afford school fees for her children to attend school.

£90 could provide learning materials to a whole classroom of students.

£300 could train a teacher and improve teaching quality.

---------

Street Child is a charity that supports 1,000's of children across the world to find safety + education. I'm running a marathon in Sierra Leone to help raise funds to support their work.

The charity was started by a few Norwich locals.

------

Since 2008, Street Child has supported :

91,057,534+ children into education

157,929 families to set up businesses so they can afford the cost of educating their children long-term.

---------------

WHERE IS SIERRA LEONE ?

TEMPERATURE = HOT

HUMIDITY = HIGH

SUITABILITY FOR RUNNING = DIFFICULT FOR NORFOLK FOLK

----------------

Street Child's first project was in rural Sierra Leone. They now work in 25 countries worldwide.

Street Child's purpose is to see all children safe, in school and learning - even, and especially, in low-resource environments and emergencies.

-

This marathon in Sierra Leone is an opportunity to witness their projects in the rural communities, run an epic race, and raise funds so that the work can continue.

Peace !
