Story
This winter I am working with the national homelessness charity, Crisis, in an effort to raise £1453.50 to provide 50 homeless people with a Christmas day they can enjoy. It costs the homeless charity Crisis £29.07 to provide a homeless person with a Christmas meal and somewhere comfortable where they might eat, relax, talk, and sleep. My aim is to 'give a Christmas' to 50 people, and I will be throwing myself in the frigid Thames 50 times for 50 Christmases. As I say, a Christmas day costs £29.07 but that is not a suggestion of what to give! Anything you can donate towards giving a Christmas and some measure of warmth and cheer and hope to someone for whom those things are rare would be immensely appreciated - thanks!!!
