Hi everyone,

We are Tcha, Jim, and Matthew, we all work in IT and are determined to make a difference in the lives of children both in the UK and worldwide. Through a sponsored hike in the majestic Scottish Highlands, we aim to raise funds for Save the Children, a charity devoted to giving every child the chance of a future they deserve.

Why Save the Children?

In these challenging times, the plight of the most vulnerable in our society, especially children, is all too easy to overlook. The recent budget announced today (Mar 2024), falls short of providing the necessary support for the poorest in our country. Moreover, the ongoing conflicts around the globe continue to devastate the lives of countless children. Save the Children works tirelessly to ensure that children in the UK and worldwide receive the protection, education, and necessities they need. The funds raised will go towards their crucial programmes, such as emergency response, education, healthcare, and support for children in poverty.

Our journey will take us through the landscapes of the Highlands, a testament to the resilience and beauty we wish to see reflected in the lives of children around the world.

Our Goal

Our target is to raise £3,000 in direct donations. We are thrilled to announce that Octopus Giving will generously match the first £500 pound raised, doubling our impact up to that point. We're also in talks with other business partners to match donations, amplifying your contribution.
