2 years after pounding the tarmac of London, it is again time to strap on the trainers and run the marathon. Pascal’s idea. Long-time friend, avid runner and soon to be my sighted guide for a 26-mile jaunt around the streets of the capital in April 2025. Our Anglo-French duo is in life’s prime (a combined age of well over a century between us). Nevertheless, the four hours of running (if all goes well) will doubtless take its toll and so, we have decided to run, walk, crawl for a very worthy cause.
Retina UK supports the visually impaired and blind such as myself. They help those with inherited sight loss lead better lives today and fund multiple research programs in the hope of one day curing degenerative eye diseases. My very sincerest gratitude for supporting this cause so close to my heart. We hope that you will be able to make a donation.

2 years after running together the Paris marathon (yes, 2 years ago Matt ran BOTH the Paris and London marathons - two marathons, two weeks apart, he is unlikely to make that same mistake again in 2025), it's time for an encore!
This time in London. Home of the British Museum, Buckingham palace and the wine gums... I can't wait.
We are in for a grueling 3 hours and a half of running (yeah, we can do better than 4h) so our entente cordiale duo will need all the support we can get. The good news is that I noticed that when I run with Matt, I seem to get a lot more cheers than when I run on my own, go figure...
Talking about support, the folks at Retina UK do a fantastic job helping people affected by inherited sight loss and are a very worthy cause to support. We are very grateful if you can make a donation.
