This year I have decided to take on the 3 Peaks challenge, with a twist. Normally challengers would drive or be driven between Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon. However, I am opting to cycle between them, with a target time of sub 48 hours.

In numbers, this equates to a total distance of roughly 680km cycling and 42km of walking/running. The fastest known time for this is around 33 hours, which broke the previous time of 37 hours before that. This challenge was also famously taken on by Radio 1 DJ Greg James when he also had to deal with the infamous ‘Beast from the East’!

Cancer affects nearly all families in some shape or form. Some are lucky and others aren’t. This is why I’ve decided to raise money for MacMillan, as they’re one of the leading cancer charities.

Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

Managed to get some time with both the local radio station, Shine, and local newspaper, the Petersfield Post. If you want to hear/read a bit more have a look at the links below
