Story

For the past year and a half, Matthew has been a trustee for Kids’ Inspire, a fantastic charity who provide trauma-informed therapy to young people, giving them the skills and resilience to thrive in their lives.

Throughout this time, Gerard has diligently made cups of tea for Matthew during his meetings, and has never once complained about how his charitable endeavours are eating into their Netflix time. Well not to his face, but we digress.

Various factors in recent years, from Covid to the cost of living crisis, have put a great strain on the mental health of young people and their families, making the work of Kids’ Inspire more important than ever.

As such, Matthew and Gerard will be running a marathon to fundraise for the charity. And by marathon we of course mean 26.2 miles over the course of one month, not in a single day obvs - that’d be physically impossible. Anyway please donate - it’s all for a good cause.

Kids Inspire is a children’s mental health charity. We want all children and families to get the support they need to recover from trauma and thrive. We do this by providing free specialist trauma support for children and families who would not otherwise be able to afford it.
