Story
Along with three friends, I will be taking on the National Three Peaks 24 hour challenge!
This July, we will be aiming to tackle the three highest peaks in the UK. Starting in Scotland, we will be climbing Ben Nevis, (4,413ft) before driving to the Lake District to scramble Scafell Pike (3,209ft) and finally driving to Wales to hike Mt Snowdon (3,560ft) all within 24 hours.
That’s 13 hours of hard hiking and 11 hours of driving!
So when is it happening?
We will have 24 hours, 24th July, 2024.
We are all raising money for different charities so please check out my teams pages as well as mine and it would be great if you could make a donation to one of them.
My chosen charity is Better lives.
Over the years my family have had amazing support from the charity which offer district care across Bradford.
Better Lives is the official charity of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust (BDCFT). BDCFT is a provider of high quality mental health, community and learning disability services across the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven communities.
Their purpose is to enhance the care the Trust provide, supporting initiatives that improve the lives of patients, service users, carers, volunteers and staff, which cannot be funded through core NHS budgets. They have such a range of specialist support and services that impact a huge amount of people.
Charity number: 1130011
We are also looking for anyone willing to sponsor us, so if you or your business would love to get involved, we will be posting regular updates across our social media platforms and promoting heavily from now until we finish.
Thank you.
