I am fundraising in support of Lupus Canada to help make a difference in the lives of Canadians impacted by this debilitating disease.

My Mother-in-law, Lynda, passed away in May after a long battle with Lupus. In 1986 she founded the Lupus Society of Nova Scotia. Her countless hours of volunteering and input were invaluable in shaping the strategic work of supporting Lupus patients and clinicians.

To help raise money for this organization and in honor of Lynda, I am embarking on the One Year No Beer challenge. No alcohol for a year. As a Brit and a ex rugby player - you all know I love a drink. So, instead of buying me a pint you can donate! I started the challenge in September so 9 more months to go.
