Story
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to share some exciting news and to ask for your support in a meaningful cause.
In memory of my late mother, Georgie Waterworth, who received exceptional care from a Marie Curie nurse during her final days, I've decided to embark on a journey to give back and make a difference.
I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in the Thames Path Challenge 75km this September. This challenge is not just a physical feat for me; it's a deeply personal journey of healing and growth. After struggling with depression and weight gain following my mother's passing in 2021, I found solace and purpose in my training regimen. Each step I take towards the finish line is not just a test of endurance, but a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope.
Through this challenge, I aim to raise funds and awareness for Marie Curie, an organization that provided invaluable support to my family during a time of great need. Their compassionate care and dedication made an immense difference in my mother's final days, and I am forever grateful for their presence in our lives.
I invite you to join me on this journey by supporting my fundraising efforts. Your contribution, no matter how small, will help Marie Curie continue their vital work, providing care and support to individuals and families facing terminal illness.
Together, we can honor the memory of Georgie Waterworth and make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.
With gratitude,
Matt
