Story
Why
So 2023 sees me turning 50. It sees me still having MS. And it sees me telling MS to do one. Still.
And because of all of those things, I've decided to set myself some targets, both to prove (mostly to myself) that I can still actually do things (more age and laziness than MS) but also so that I can raise some money for a very good cause - The MS Trust - in order to help people who are a lot less fortunate than me when it comes to their journey with MS.
And on that, I really am very fortunate - my MS is stable, and has pretty much always has been since I got diagnosed back in 2014, but that isn't the case for many, many others of the 100,000 people in the UK who have MS. Which is why I want to do something this year to help.
What (and when)
So what am I doing? Well it's all bike riding and so far there are two items on the agenda, but there might well be more added later this year:
1. The Dunwich Dynamo - my favourite, overnight ride from London to Suffolk, about 112 miles, this year on Saturday 1st July
2. London to Paris - 2 capital cities, 4 days, 300 miles, starting on July 19th and finishing on July 23rd at the Eiffel Tower.
3. TBC
So, with that, I've set up my little fundraising page - every single penny will help so consider this my thanks in advance to everyone who is willing and able to help.

About the MS Trust
The MS Trust is committed to ensuring everyone with MS can access the treatments and services they need and deserve. We aim to represent and reach all people affected by MS, from the moment of diagnosis throughout their journey. Your support will allow the MS Trust to continue to train health professionals. Approximately 103,688 people with MS live in areas where there are not enough MS nurses to look after everyone. So, The MS Trust are working with the NHS to fund new MS nurses in the areas that need them most and ensure people with MS have the care and support they need.
