Hi there!

I’m Matt, and I’ve decided to take on a personal challenge that’s been on my mind for quite some time – running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April!

This run isn’t just a personal goal for me, though. I’m also fundraising for The Institute of Cancer Research, London, one of the world’s leading cancer research institutions. Their groundbreaking work is helping to develop new treatments and ultimately save lives. They are one of the world's most influential cancer research institutes, with an outstanding record of achievement dating back more than 100 years.

Cancer is something that has affected so many people – including family, friends and those I care most about – and I want to do my part to help fund the research that will lead to better treatments and, one day, a cure.

How can you help? Well, as I struggle to put one foot in front of the other, you can donate to support this fantastic cause! Every penny will go towards funding life-saving cancer research, and every donation—no matter how small—will make a big difference in the fight against cancer.

I know I have a long way to go in terms of my training, but I’m committed to pushing through and giving my best effort on the day.
