Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page - this will be my 295th Fundraising project some big and some small spanning over 5 decades and I hope you can give it some support.

Food and Sport for All Project

My growing 'Food and Sport for All' Project is now in its 5th year. This year I plan to raise £5000 for the Arctic One Foundation (www.arctic1.co.uk) and collect 5000 Items of Food for the Trussell Trust and their Food Banks. Arctic One will be donating to Cancer Research from the money raised.

In September with good health I plan to cycle from The Tower of London to the Colosseum in Rome (2200km) divided into several stages:

Stage 1 - London to Paris

Stage 2 - Paris to Geneva

Stage 3 - Geneva to Monaco

Stage 4 - Monaco to Pisa

Stage 5 - Pisa to Rome

Can I complete it........to be honest I'm really not sure so I have divided it into stages and see how it goes I may go further or I may have to go back to this challenge. I have some time!

In December 2024 I plan to walk the 160 km coastal path around the Isle of Man

The Cycle and Walk are all self funded and all monies raised will go to the Charities. My aim is to raise £5000 and collect 5000 items of food.

There will be a number of ways you can get involved including

1. Donating on this Page - I will be raffling some artwork for all Donation.

2. Collecting and Donating some items of Food - Collection points will be set up and it may be possible to pick up your items too.

3. Donating cash to purchase food. This can be cash, paypal matt.kirby@btinternet.com or bank transfer please get in touch for details.

4. Purchasing some 'Seasons Artwork'

5. Donating and Foreign or British Currency old or new.

5. Placing Bids on the Online Art Auctions, Coin, Notes and Stamp Auctions

All proceeds raised from July 1st and the end of the year will be put on this page.

More details will follow via my own Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/matt.j.kirby and Instagram @5000mattkirby
