I will be taking part in the Home-Start in Suffolk Jail & Bail event on Friday 28th March to help raise vital fund to help support local families.

Home-Start in Suffolk is the county's largest family support charity. They offer struggling families throughout Suffolk practical help and emotional support in a friendly, non-judgmental way through their army of over 280 volunteers.

The families supported by Home-Start in Suffolk are facing a wide range of challenges including loneliness and isolation, mental health issues, disability, physical health problems, poverty and domestic violence.

Kerseys Solicitors and Home Start in Suffolk are no strangers to one another, with my Firm being proud supporters of the charity for many years. As a family lawyer of some 25 years and seeing what separation and divorce does to families and children, I know just how invaluable Home Start are to so many people who find themselves in that situation. It is testament to the success of Home Start that they have over 280 fully trained volunteers offering practical and emotional support to families

I didn’t need to be asked twice to participate in this year’s Jail and Bail event, and whilst many people I know would probably pay extra to keep this hapless lawyer locked up, I would ask that you all dig deep and help me and Home Start smash the £1000 bail release fee!
