I am running the London Marathon in 2025 for Heart Research UK. My brother Chris was born with a heart defect. As a result of this he has undergone open heart surgery twice. Once when he was 18 months old and again when he was 18 years old. Thanks to the surgery and care Chris received he is able to live a normal life. This would not have been possible without the work of charities like Heart Research UK who do vital work developing new techniques and treatments for those with heart conditions and heart disease.
