We fund lifesaving research to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

Most people are aware that my partner Callum had to have sudden Aortic Valve Replacement surgery in April this year, shortly after we ran a half marathon together. Whilst he’s mostly recovered from the surgery, he will feel the effects of his surgery for the rest of his life.

I want to do all I can to give back to the research that has ultimately saved his life. I’ve chosen to run the London Marathon to raise money for British Heart Foundation. BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK.

BHF is a charity close to mine and my families’ hearts (lol). With my Grandad passing away from heart failure, my Great Uncle having a Quadruple Bypass this year, and my cousin on the waiting list for a heart transplant. So I will be running the marathon for Callum, Uncle Kev, Reece, Gang Gang, and John.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will be a big motivator to help me cross that finish line in April!

Thank you x
