Story

Mary Kane, passed away peacefully in her sleep on 27th February, at the age of 93. Mary leaves behind her children Kevin, Carolyn, David, Debbie, John Michael and Andy, as well as lots of loving grandkids (including her first great grandchild) and many more dear family members in England, Ireland and beyond. From a difficult start in life, she made so much of herself and set such a great example to us all. We have so much to thank her for as she reunites with our Dad, John, who passed away in 2020.

Mary Daly was born on July 18, 1931 - Cork, Ireland. Mary was brought up in Dublin with her two best friends, Mary Murphy and Mary Henry - the "3 Marys". Mary moved to Norwich where she met John Kane, the love of her life. They were married in 1959, soon followed by the births of Kevin, Carolyn, David, Deborah, John Michael and Andrew.

Mary was the "mainstay" of the Kane household and managed to bring up 6 children while her husband was often away the majority of the week finding work where he could around the country.

May Mary rest in peace.
