Story
This March, I’m taking on the 'Walk In Her Shoes 125' challenge to support the thousands of women who are facing crisis and conflict across the world.
I’m raising money for CARE International UK so that women across the world can feel safe, can build a life and can shape a better future.
I will run or walk 125 miles in Lancashire and Cumbria between 5th and 31st March. This will only include planned, recorded outings, not miles walked in general activities. In solidarity with the women around the world who often have to walk many miles every day (to school, to hospitals, getting water...), frequently in dangerous conditions, I will also run/walk every day.
Update: By 14th March, I have walked or run 66 miles - on target!
I reached the target of 125 miles on 24 March, but I will continue to go out every day.
