STOP3000 Fourth Annual Fundraiser!

Fundraising for Stop Foodborne Illness
US$1,500
raised of US$500 target
Food Safety Education Month, 1 September 2030
During the month of September, Stop Foodborne Illness challenges our constituents, their friends and families, and our donors to take 3,000 steps each day - every day - to honor the 3,000 lives lost each year to foodborne illness in the U.S.

Story

In the United States, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that 3000 people die from foodborne illness annually.

In recognition of September's annual Food Safety Education Month, Stop Foodborne Illness (STOP) has organized a fundraiser called STOP3000.

The goal this year is to raise funds to support STOP's mission and vision to STOP3000 people from losing their lives to illness from a foodborne pathogen.

Help us give 3000 silenced voices an opportunity to be heard.

My son Chris is one of the lucky ones. He survived an E.coli infection that developed into Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). He spent 56 days in the hospital. Foodborne illnesses can be prevented. Please help me spread the word and educate others.
