Story
NSPCC Number Day, celebrated annually in February, is a special day dedicated to raising funds for the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) while having fun with numbers.
It encourages individuals like myself and my friends to get involved in mathematical and numerical activities to support the NSPCC’s vital work in protecting children.Celebrating 24 years Number Day is maths, but not as you know it!
Number Day is 2 February 2024, and I have created this page for all the Rokeby boys to join and sign up to take part and raise money for this great cause. It is a great day to make memories, work in teams and have number fun.
The money we raise could help to fund Childline, a service that’s there 24/7, for any child or young person to turn to, or it could help the NSPCC to visit more schools as part of their Speak Out Stay Safe programme, giving children the knowledge and confidence to speak out about anything that’s worrying them, including abuse, so they can get help.
Thank you so much for your support,
Kind regards,
Marvin Khan on behalf of Rokeby School- Kingston
The children pictured are volunteers. I will be posting pictures of Rokeby boys taking part very soon! Stay tuned!
