Support the Round Table Family in the Lost Hours Walk: Walking Together to Save Lives
Every week, 125 people in the UK die by suicide. It's a heartbreaking statistic, and we refuse to stay silent. That’s why we—members of the Round Table, Ladies Circle, Tangent, and 41 Club—are taking part in the Lost Hours Walk to raise awareness and funds for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a charity dedicated to preventing suicide.
On the night of Saturday, October 26th, we’ll be walking 28 miles from Marchesi House in Birmingham to the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas. We’ll walk through the “lost hours,” starting at 10 pm and arriving around 12pm on Sunday, October 27th, (approx 50km)where we’ll light a candle to remember those we’ve lost to suicide.
We are raising money for CALM, a charity that offers life-saving support to people in crisis. CALM runs a free, confidential helpline and webchat service, available 365 days a year, providing crucial support to those who feel overwhelmed, alone, or on the brink. Every call they answer can save a life.
Our goal is to help CALM answer more of those life-saving calls, and with your donation, we can make a real difference.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Your donation, no matter the size, will help CALM continue its vital work in suicide prevention and mental health support.
Share: Spread the word by sharing this page and encouraging others to support our mission.
Join Us: If you’re local, come cheer us on! Join us at Marchesi House to see us off, or meet us at the National Memorial Arboretum when we arrive.
Every step we take and every pound we raise brings us closer to a world where fewer lives are lost to suicide. Let’s walk together, raise awareness, and show that help is out there.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can make a life-saving difference.
