A great friend and I decided to do this ride over a year ago. Sadly he was then diagnosed with Prostate cancer and his treatment meant that we had to delay until this year. Having booked the trip, a checkup revealed that he needed more treatment urgently. He is bravely starting the ride but having to return home for treatment after half of the journey. I would love to be able to raise a little money to put towards researching this all too common disease and thank you for your help.

Prostate Cancer Research are dedicated to creating brand new prostate cancer treatments. Prostate cancer is now the most diagnosed cancer in the UK and 11,500 men die from the disease every year. People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.
