Story

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As some of you know, I've been suffering from an as-yet undiagnosed respiratory illness since January 16. On doctor's orders, I had to withdraw from the Brighton half-marathon on February 25 and from the London marathon, for which you've all so generously donated, on April 21. That's the bad news. The good news is that the charity - The Children's Trust - has deferred my participation in the London marathon until 2025. Donations will therefore be held by Just Giving in the interim period, and released to the charity upon completion on the event. If I am, for whatever reason, unable to compete in 2025, the donations will be returned. If you've any questions or concerns, please get in touch. Martin.

Every year, 40,000 children in the UK are left with a brain injury as a result of an accident or illness, with many unable to access the support they desperately need.

Our goal is to reach and support more children with brain injury to give them the best life possible.
