Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our Scottish Ambulance Service colleague Paul Gowens has recently been diagnosed with Cancer. Paul is a paramedic who has been at the forefront of clinical developments within SAS and pre-hospital care more widely within the UK for over thirty years.

Cancer is a disease that is on the increase, with around 1000 new cases diagnosed each day in the UK! Maggie's is a charity that provides free support and information across the UK.

We are supporting Paul and raising money for Maggie's by shaving our hair.

This will be taking place on the 17th May 23.

Those signed up so far include:

Martin Esposito, Dave Bywater, Alison Moggach, Danny Kerr, Shymali Das-Bharadwa, and Steven Short.

We are looking for more recruits to join us in our 'Hair we go for Gowensy' fundraising. If you would like to join, please contact Martin Esposito at martin.esposito@nhs.scot.

Please help us by donating what you can.

Thank you.
