Story
My mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s during lockdown and the effect on her has been gradual but devastating. The effect on our family has been similarly traumatic.
Sadly mum isn’t unique, 1 in 3 people born today will go onto to develop dementia.
The Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.
On 16th June I’ll be running the Cheltenham Racecourse Half Marathon please help support the work they are doing and EDF will match your donation.
