Martin's fundraiser for ESCAPE Support Group

Fundraising for ESCAPE Support Group
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Martin, or Drowze as my friends and family like to call me. I am a parent of an autistic son with sensory processing disorder and speech delay and a daughter who is currently on the waiting list for assessment.
As a parent of an autistic child, i know firsthand the challenges that autistic people and their families face. I also know just how important it is to have access to support and services.
It was through our son getting diagnosed that we met a fantastic local charity group, Escape Support Group, that provides support to families raising children with disabilities. This has been a lifeline for us and many other families like ours, enabling us to attend activities and go on days out as a family, where our children are made to feel included and knowing support is there if needed.
So call me crazy but when thinking of ways to give something back to this wonderful charity, the first thing that popped into my head was to do a skydive! It has been a lifelong dream of mine and what better way to fulfill that than by giving back to a charity that has helped our family so much.
So along with Sarah, a member of staff from the Escape group (she also has a just giving page, if you are feeling generous and want to sponsor her too) i will be taking the plunge (literally!!) on Sunday 28th April.
So please donate what you can to this fantastic charity, so that it can keep going to support many other families like ours.
Thank you for all of your support.
