Run & Cycle as part of 1083 challenge, 22 June 2024
1083 Care Team Challenge
Campaign by Julia's House (RCN 1067125)
The team will be tackling 1083 miles on the 22nd & 23rd June by running, swimming and cycling across the whole weekend, all finishing with the final miles ending at our hospice, with a group run!

Story

I am participating in the Run & Cycle as part of the 1083 challenge to support Julia's House, a charity that provides frequent, flexible care for children with life-limited or life-threatening conditions. Their mission is to give parents a much-needed break and support families facing unimaginable heartbreak. It's incredible to know that Julia's House has to raise 93% of the money it needs each year to run this vital service. Your kind sponsorship will make a life-changing difference to these families, and together, we can bring hope and joy into their lives.

On June 22 & 23, 2024, I will be cycling & running to raise funds for this important cause. My target amount is £300, and every contribution counts towards making a meaningful impact. Join me in providing funds for respite and making a difference in the lives of these families.

No parent expects to live longer than their child, but for many of the families we support, this is a reality. Julia's House, the Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospice charity provides frequent respite care for children and support for their families at home, in the community and at our hospice.
