Jack, Josh and I are taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Dementia UK!

Earlier this year, Jack and I sadly lost our Grandma who was living with Dementia. She was an incredible woman and without the care given from specialist nurses, she wouldn’t have had the energy, facilities or strength to continue in her later years when suffering. Dementia UK gave her the independence she needed whilst still caring for her in the best way. We are so thankful for their support and for helping our Grandma enjoy life despite living with Dementia.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Their nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.

In memory of our Grandma as well as to show thanks and support to Dementia UK, we will be taking on the challenge of running the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023.
