Marsha's fundraiser for Parkinson’s UK

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Parkinson's does not discriminate, and for those who hear the words "you have Parkinson's", their lives are changed forever. It can take away independence, as well as stopping people doing things they love as the disease progresses. For those runners who are diagnosed with Parkinson's, it can impact them in ways that are devastating.
Running gives me so much and this year I wanted to give back. So each ultra marathon I run this year, I want to raise funds for Parkinson's UK. And by you donating not only will it help me when the going gets tough, but every penny donated, can help to continue the research into finding a cure.
I am starting in February with the Rhino Challenge. March will see my attempt of the UTMB "Chester 50 Ultra", followed by HOTH "The Mad Hatter" 24 hour run across the Humber Bridge. In April the "Not so London Marathon". May brings the hardest so far, with "The Lap", which is 47 miles around around Lake Windermere, with over 9000 feet of elevation. July brings my first attempt of a 100 mile run with Rat Race "Bamburgh Castle to Edinburgh Castle". September will see my favourite event of "Equinox 24", which is 24+ hours of running, aiming for 130k. And rounding off the year with "Escape From Meriden", which the aim is to run as far as possible in 48 hours, and aiming for at least Tower Bridge in London and over 100 miles. These will be tough and I may not succeed, but for every donation I know that it will make a difference to those whose journey is far tougher than any I can imagine.
