We support young people at risk of suicide to stay safe and find hope in times of need

Story

The biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK is suicide. Every year, more than 1800 young people in the UK take their own lives.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide, providing confidential support and advice to young people struggling with suicidal thoughts, and anyone worried about a young person. As you can see, I’m not a young person myself, but I had my own struggles when I was young and want to support the great work PAPYRUS is doing by running the Chester marathon. Can I do it? We'll find out on 6th October...

Every £10 you donate will contribute towards a life-saving contact to the PAPYRUS helpline, HOPELINE247. Thank you for supporting this cause - your donation really can save a life.
