After several years of trying to get into the London Marathon, I have finally succeeded with a ballot place in April 2025. This will be my first (and probably last) marathon and is something I always had on my bucket list. I am not looking forward to the training through the winter months.

I have chosen FORCE (based at the RDE Hospital) as the charity that I am raising money for. They are a fantastic local charity who helped my wife, when she was diagnosed several years ago with breast cancer. The attention, care & thoughtfulness that was given by the staff was incredible, which when you are going through a distressing situation was amazing.
