I'm raising money for Olive Academies Foundation. For those of you that know me, you'll know my journey with Olive, and how Olive was born. The academies are going from strength to strength, and two years ago we set up Olive Academies Foundation to help offer our pupils even more opportunities for development.

This year, Olive Academies Foundation are holding another sponsored 'Olive Walk' to raise much-needed funds for the charity which I’m looking forward to joining with my family. I've also decided to take on an additional challenge of my own. Throughout the month of June, I'm going to be attempting to swim the equivalent distance of the English Channel (21 miles) at swimming pools both in the south east and ones as close to each of our academies as possible.

The 21 miles across the English channel works out at as 1352 lengths of a pool... that works out to 45 lengths a day for the whole of June!
