I'm Running the Berlin Marathon 2025 for Anthony Nolan! #TeamAN

On September 21st, 2025, when someone asks, "Oh, you used to run—have you done a marathon?" I’ll finally be able to say, "Yes, yes I have!"

Not only will this be my first-ever marathon (a seriously long way!), but I’m running for an incredible cause—Anthony Nolan. This amazing charity helps save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders by matching donors with those in need of life-saving transplants.

I’d love your support in raising funds and awareness for the vital work they do every single day. Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference—and keep me going all 26.2 miles around Berlin! Not quite the typical sightseeing tour (for my first visit), but definitely one I’ll never forget!

For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. Today, five people will start their search for a stranger to save their life. Anthony Nolan is the charity that makes lifesaving connections between people with blood cancer and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells. It costs £40 to add each new potential donor to the Anthony Nolan stem cell register. Every new person on the register means another chance for someone to find their lifesaving match.
