We provide emergency critical care to 2.1m people of Bristol & local counties

Story

In November last year I had a sudden cardiac arrest while cycling with two mates in the Cotswolds. I was gone....on the roadside in a country lane.

Then the miracles happened: My mates Steve and Dave did CPR and kept me going until the first responder Pete Bishop arrived on scene and zapped me, twice, with a defib unit. Amazingly a passing nurse, I think called Holly, helped out with airways and then ambulances and the GW Air Ambulance were on scene and I was airlifted to the Bristol Heart Institute.

No fault found ....no clear cause.... the plumbing broadly all ok but cleary an electrical fault blew the fuse!!

BHI fitted me with an ICD (my own defib!!) and I am now up and running and keen to put something back as a huge debt of gratitude is owed to all of the above people.

I truly am a miracle man. The survival rate for this is less than 8% if it happens outside a hospital.

So now I would love to help in any way I can to give others that chance of surviving and the Air Ambulance is CRITICAL to this.

I would be hugely grateful for any donation you are able to make , it is all going to a great cause.
