I am a serving police officer of 31 years and currently the General Secretary for the BTP Federation and a Trustee for the Police Treatment Centres charity.

I know from personal experience how tough it is to be a police officer, especially in the current climate. The majority of officers throughout the UK are good people, dedicated and hardworking, running towards danger and trauma in order to protect the public. This, inevitably takes its toll on the officers, who need places like the Police Treatment Centres, to heal and recuperate, which enables them to get back to work.

The Police Treatment Centres do excellent work both physically and psychologically, but these things cost money and I want to do my bit for those officers who are out there 24/7.

On Wednesday 03rd May 2023 at the Police Treatment Centre in Harrogate, I will walk for 24 hours on a treadmill, commencing at 10am on the Wednesday and finishing at 10am on Thursday 04th May. Updates will be provided on the day, with photos and miles covered, calories burned etc.

Please give generously to this worthy cause and help me raise some much needed funds.
