Story
On 14th and 15th September, I am joining the Newcore team and friends, who are very generously supporting The Rivers Trust. We are having a shot at a 125 mile triathlon from the source of the River Wye in the Welsh hills, down to its mouth into the Severn Estuary at Chepstow.
We will be walking/running 10 miles across the moor from the source at Plynlimon in the Cambrian Mountains to the nearest road, then cycling 90 miles to Symonds Yat. We then pick up our kayaks to paddle 16 miles to the tide and finish off with a near half-marathon on foot to the sea.
We're raising money for The Rivers Trust , the charity I run. Please give generously to keep me paddling, pedalling and running and to support our vital work supporting member Rivers Trusts throughout the UK and Ireland to restore rivers to good health. I'm genuinely doubtful that I can actually finish this challenge!
