Story
On 2nd July, a team from Samsung will take on the Thames Path challenge to raise money for Mind Over Mountains, as part of their Project 500 campaign to enable better mental health for all. Walking 26 miles from the O2 to Richmond Bridge
Mind Over Mountains is an ambitious and innovative mental health charity that enables people to thrive through therapeutic outdoor experiences. We enable people to restore and sustain their mental health and wellbeing through a highly integrated practice that brings together walking in nature, mindfulness, and professional coaching and counselling. With your help we can move mountains!
Having struggled with mental health over the last few years due to massive changes in my personal life, I found that exercise and being outside doing activities, accompanied with talking to people really helped me to get back to a place i am happy with. However in talking to people, i found friends and family who were in their own struggles but did not know who they could talk to on a professional level and what else they could do to make their journey back to a place they were happy with. Causes like this are really important to raise awareness and provide avenues for people to access help. Often those who are struggling with mental health show no outward signs they are in a struggle and this makes the first step in getting the help they need hard. Please help by supporting me in this challenge so we can make access to this type of help easier for anyone that needs it.
