Story
Washington’s national parks are places to play and explore. For those that know me, they know these places set me free. They bring a wonderful feeling of escape, both from daily life stresses, and from the normal hustle bustle of city life.
What are they to you? Even if you've never been to one of Washington's National Parks- Mt. Rainier, Olympic, and North Cascades... what does escaping to nature bring to you?
Now more than ever, we must do what we can to preserve these precious places. That's why I do what I can to support Washington's National Park Fund. I volunteer to rove the meadows at Mt Rainier, answering questions for visitors, and making sure they're aware how to protect our fragile mountain meadows. This is a program funded by WNPF!
I also volunteer on WNPF's marketing committee bringing my broadcasting experience into action for earned media opportunities. And I volunteer on the Donor Engagement team, to share with others, opportunities to become involved in the preservation of these wonders of nature.
And here I am, asking YOU to become involved. Please consider donating any amount you're comfortable with to preserve the parks' unique ecosystems, improve visitor experiences, support wildlife conservation, and provide youth programs.
Together, we can ensure these parks continue to thrive for future generations.
Join me in supporting these treasured places—every donation counts!
