Every September for the past few years, colleagues within the Pharmacy Medicines Advice and Effectiveness (MADE) Team (past and present) have raised money for a chosen charity by getting physically active.

This September the team will be aiming to achieve a collective total of 1,000 miles by running, cycling, walking, swimming or rowing to raise money for Sarcoidosis UK.

Sarcoidosis, something which is close to the team’s heart, is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. Sarcoidosis UK works to change that. Their 4 goals are; providing information, providing support, raising awareness and funding research.

None of their work is possible without donations. They receive no government money and are 100% reliant on your generosity. Any donation, big or small, makes a huge difference to our ability to help others. Thank you!
