Story
On December 22nd 2023, my niece was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumour, that there is not currently no clear way to treat. We want to raise enough money for research to take place in order to find treatments and cures for these types of tumours.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally and is committed to understanding these tumours and investing in ways to treat them, save and improve the lives of those living with them.
They're set on developing new treatments and offering the highest level of support and are doing it right now. They understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
Along with 100+ family and friends, I will be taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge on October 5th. This challenge involves a hike over 24 miles and 1585 metre of ascent. The aim is to get everyone around the course in under 12 hours. All the funds raised will go to the Brain Tumour Charity.
