Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk are told the news that they have cancer, and many more are living with the effects every day.

I barely know anyone who hasn't been directly affected by this somehow, whether personally or via a family member/close friend - it's a horrible disease and this is my small effort to help in the fight against it.

By me taking part in the Blickling Half Marathon and you giving what you can to Big C we will be helping improve the lives of local people affected by cancer. Big C's work focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county's main hospitals and educating local people about cancer for the future.

Anything you can contribute, no matter how large or small, will be massively appreciated.

(UPDATE - FRUSTRATINGLY THE EVENT WAS POSTPONED DUE TO FLOODING, BUT WILL BE GOING AHEAD (WEATHER PERMITTING) ON SUNDAY 4TH FEB 2024 INSTEAD).
