Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2021 when Emily was 17 she suffered a life changing brain bleed, this left Emily with a coma scale of 3. Emily’s journey has been one of hope and determination and never giving up. 11 months ago Emily joined Neurokinex which has helped meet her goals and can now stand by herself for over minute. Emily’s goal is to walk by herself and much more.

£750 will give someone like Emily 10 specialist sessions. Our aim is to raise enough to give 10 people the opportunity to achieve their goals.

My daughter Abbie and I are running a Wimbledon half marathon to raise money for others to access rehabilitation and raise awareness of brain injury in young adults. We are running on behalf of Emily who was prior to stroke was extremely sporty and a very good runner. Thank you for taking the time to read Emily’s story.
