I (with a group) will be attempting the High Atlas Mountains trek in Morocco next June 2024, in order to help raise money for the Marie Curie Foundation.

I can recall only 1 or 2 times in my life I volunteered in centers that specialized in end-of-life care, and 0 times I've donated, and I feel quite ashamed of that. While I wish I had chosen differently and been better, I can't change the past. I can, however, work for today. Since 1948, Marie Curie has aimed to provide the right support that everyone deserves at the end of their life.

The High Atlas Mountain range is one of the most stunning natural landscapes in Africa, and a difficult yet immensely rewarding effort. Over several days we will aim to reach 4,167m, which is the summit of the highest peak in North Africa - Mount Toubkal.

Every pound raised will go directly to the Marie Curie Foundation, and any amount contributed goes a long long way and is truly appreciated.
