We've got some brave volunteers ready to take on the Zipslide Across the Clyde on Friday, September 13, 2024. Will you support them in ensuring CACE can continue providing vital services to older adults?

Story

Local charities can really struggle to attract the big funders but increasingly they provide a real life line for many people.

This is why I have chosen to support CACE.

For over 30 years, Cumbernauld Action for Care of the Elderly (CACE) has been a lifeline for older adults in the Northern Corridor, Kilsyth, and Cumbernauld. Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that aging individuals receive the care, respect, and community they deserve. From providing companionship to essential daily support, CACE is there, making a difference where it matters most.

Please help support this great local Charity that works very hard to support older people within the Community through groups, befriending, outings and lots more every week.

Help me make a difference by sponsoring my zipslide. It's apparently the longest in Scotland and if I survive I will tell you what it's like.

About the charity

CACE was initially founded in 1990 to provide a number of different services which support older people in the Cumbernauld and the surrounding areas. We do this by offering various groups, outings and transport. Our aim is to promote the welfare of vulnerable older people and their carers.
